November 3, 2015
Ice cream enthusiasts now have a new place to call home in Carmel! Graeter’s Ice Cream is now open in The Nash at Carmel City Center, conveniently located off the Monon Trail, and ready to scoop out your favorite flavors. The famous ice cream company that started in Cincinnati 145 years ago and has grown to national fame has now made its way to Carmel. The new location is operated by Graeter’s only franchise out of Louisville, KY. Brothers Jim and Jay Tedesco currently operate 12 locations between Louisville and Lexington Kentucky, Southern Indiana, and here in Indianapolis.
Featured seasonal flavors include: Peppermint, Pumpkin, Cinnamon and Pumpkin Chocolate Chip
The store features Graeter’s famous handcrafted flavors, like Black Raspberry Chip, and of course include those famous big chocolate chunks that customers always rave about. The ice cream will be made out of Louisville, KY and transported to the location in Indianapolis. “From the beginning, we have made the ice cream for each of our stores in Louisville, and are continuing that for Carmel,” said Jay Tedesco, owner with his brother, Jim. “Our goal is to provide the freshest and highest quality ice cream you can get! We do that by following the recipes set forth by the Graeter family in Cincinnati, OH.”
