Addendum and Hey Little Diddle are Growing!

Two of Carmel City Center’s retailers are growing and adding second locations within the Center this spring.  Addendum and Hey Little Diddle will both add second locations within the Center – growing the fashion and gift district in the Center.

Addendum, a luxury lifestyle concept store specializing in tabletop, crystal and entertaining pieces, focusing on designer jewelry and home fragrances will add a second location within Carmel City Center this spring. The new second location will be a standalone MacKenzie-Childs shop featuring an extensive selection of their renowned courtly check tabletop, kitchen, décor, lighting and furniture pieces which are all hand-made and hand painted in upstate New York. The displays in the shop will mimic the new MacKenzie-Childs shop in SoHo, New York.

The new Addendum shop located at 751 Hanover Place, Suite 159 will also feature the Indiana debut of the popular Stoney Clover Lane line. Items within the line include customizable bags, pouches, travel accessories and small accessories in bright, fun colors. In addition, luxurious candles by Cereria Mollá and Carrière Frères will be available.

“After more than a decade at Carmel City Center, Addendum has continued to grow and we are proud to be able to further showcase our exclusive partnership with MacKenzie-Childs,” says owner Shane Hartke. “The new shop will allow us to offer a larger variety of patterns and options in the MacKenzie-Childs line along with other new lines that we think customers will enjoy. We look forward to hosting the creative director of MacKenzie-Childs, Rebecca Proctor, to the shop this summer as well.”

Both Addendum locations will be open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and closed Sunday.

Hey Little Diddle, a baby and child boutique offering designer clothing in a neutral color palette from sustainable, ethical brands from birth to 7 years of age is expanding and adding a second location within Carmel City Center focusing on baby gifts and accessories. The new second location will open this spring at 736 Hanover Place, suite 100F, across from Uplift Intimate Apparel on the plaza.

The Hey Little Diddle gift shop will offer unique take-home outfits and organic layettes, a large variety of beautifully illustrated storybooks and board books, eco-friendly rattles and teethers, plush animals, sustainable baby gifts and gift bundles, nursery décor, custom embroidery, baby memory books and sibling and family gifts that you will feel good about giving.

Visitors will be able to find a great baby gift in less than 15 minutes and have the option of complimentary gift wrapping in a variety of options. Hey Little Diddle offers a baby registry program for new parents as well as gift cards.

Owner, Celeste Nance, continually does research to curate and introduce new brands and concepts to provide customers with the best baby gift available. “I am thrilled to be able to expand Hey Little Diddle and offer more thoughtful, beautiful gift options for new parents, family members and friends,” says Nance. “Carmel City Center is the perfect backdrop for shopping locally and supporting small businesses – all while customers receive the best and most unique items available.”

Hey Little Diddle will be open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. A grand opening celebration including balloons, snacks and fun will be planned when the shop opens this spring.
