Spring has arrived throughout the city of Carmel and restaurants here in Carmel City Center are greeting the warm weather with open arms with offering outdoor dining for their guests.
-Holy Cow, Cupcakes! has been in business in Carmel for the past four years. It grew from owner Karen von Kamecke Sutton’s passion for baking. She, along with her husband, Sean, started Holy Cow, Cupcakes! with a booth at the Carmel Farmers Market and grew their loyal following through the market and special orders for events. Holy Cow, Cupcakes! relocated to Carmel City Center in July and has expanded its offerings to include cookies, croissants, danishes and other baked goods. With two pastry chefs on staff, the sky’s the limit.
-Eggshell Bistro’s culinary style can be best described as ‘global fusion’—healthy, rustic, fresh and often creative. A unique range of culinary twists are displayed by its namesake—the egg…with supporting roles from sides, salads, soups and sandwiches.
-Mangia! Locally owned and operated since 1997, Mangia! is a cozy and romantic Italian restaurant. In Carmel City Center, it offers lunch and dinner Monday through Friday and dinner on Saturday. The new location also has a built-in wine cellar
-A “sharing plates” restaurant from the owners of Woody’s Library Restaurant, divvy offers a diverse mix of menu items ranging from classic favorites to eclectic creations. The concept allows patrons to try and share a variety of items by ordering multiple plates.
As Hubbard & Cravens opens its doors in June and Matt the Miller Tavern opens this summer/fall, they too will offer outside seating.
With spring here and summer following shortly behind, it will be no surprise that the great outdoor seating and specials that these amazing restaurants have to offer will allow many patrons to enjoy the beautiful scenery that Carmel City Center has to offer!
