Construction Update – Businesses are Open
May 4, 2017
Carmel was recently named “The Best Place to Live in America” by Town & Country Magazine (this is the 2nd time Carmel has been ranked #1!) and we believe it’s due in part to the City of Carmel’s efforts to improve roads and traffic flow. As part of the City of Carmel’s roundabout construction and improvements project, a roundabout at City Center Drive (126th Street) and Rangeline Road is currently under construction. Effective June 12, 2017, a FULL CLOSURE of the intersection will be in place for approximately 14 days. All construction is planned to be complete by July 1st.
But never fear! The Carmel City Center shops, cafes, restaurants and businesses are open during construction and welcome you to visit them! All entrances to Carmel City Center remain open from City Center Drive as well as Rangeline Road. In Carmel City Center, free parking is conveniently located at street level, plaza level and the underground parking garage. This roundabout will greatly increase traffic flow at this intersection and we’re excited for the improvements!
