More Than 140 Characters – Larry Hanes, Eggshell Bistro

Owner, Larry Hanes, owner of Eggshell Bistro, is a self-proclaimed “foodie” and an art director/designer by profession. These attributes combine for a very focused vision for the overall customer experience at Eggshell Bistro. He has collected numerous European antiques to grace its décor including authentic Parisian café tables and chairs purchased at auction.

Larry describes the atmospheric vibe as “a culmination of unique vintage-industrialism, modernism, and functionalism…all blended with warm touches in a very ‘London loft-like’ way.” Larry created Eggshell’s menu with input from his chef on individual recipe composition. The menu items have been influenced by the cuisine of France, Italy and even China, just to name a few.

According to Larry, “Eggshell Bistro’s culinary style can be best described as ‘global fusion’—healthy, rustic, fresh and often creative. A unique range of culinary twists are displayed by its namesake—the egg…with supporting roles from sides, salads, soups and sandwiches.”
