Events Happening Memorial Day Weekend in Carmel

Memorial Day Weekend is right around the corner and with the Indianapolis 500 events happening all weekend long, people will undoubtedly be buzzing around town. Here are some events that will be taking place in the City of Carmel this weekend:
On Friday, May 25th the City of Carmel is holding a Memorial Day Ceremony to remember those who have served our country and have sacrificed for us today. The ceremony will take place at 9 a.m. at Carmel Clay Veterans Memorial Plaza located near the southwest corner of 3rd Avenue SW and City Center Drive in City Center. The ceremony keynote speaker will be retired U.S.A.F. and Carmel resident, Major General Robert Nester and will include remarks by Mayor Jim Brainard. Light refreshments will be provided and the public is invited to attend.
The Carmel Farmers Market will be from 8 – 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 26th. Vendors across Indiana will be present at the market located in the Center Green of The Center for the Performing Arts. Uber Boutique in Carmel City Center will be sharing a booth with The Residences at Carmel City Center this Saturday at the market. Scheduled to play at the market is the band Witch Hazel. The community is invited to attend this public event.
Good and evil wrestle center stage as the Indiana Wind Symphony performs “Angels & Demons” at the Palladium Saturday, May 26th at 7:30 p.m.
