Carmel City Center – OPEN during Construction

FULL CLOSURE is set to begin Monday, June 12.  All lanes at the intersection of Rangeline Road and City Center Drive (126th Street) will be closed for approximately 14 days.

Access to Carmel City Center will remain OPEN during this time. Visitors may travel north on Rangeline Road and turn left into the underground parking garage (free parking!). Visitors may also travel east on City Center Drive and access the Center near the restaurant, divvy (again, free parking and valet!). The businesses at Carmel City Center appreciate your support during this construction closure.

As part of the City of Carmel’s roundabout construction and improvements project there will be a roundabout at City Center Drive (126th Street) and Range Line Road. The City of Carmel announced a Range Line “Road Diet” project that will transform one of the busiest north-south corridors on the City. The project improve traffic flow and increase safety for motorists, pedestrians and bicyclists on Range Line Road from 116th Street to the 4th Street entrance to the Carmel Arts & Design District.

Effective April 24th, 2017, construction is set to begin with a partial closure. All lanes will remain open. The next phase of the roundabout project will involved a 14 day closure in mid-June and construction is planned to wrap up by July 1st.

The Carmel City Center shops, cafes, restaurants and businesses are open during construction and welcome you to visit them! In Carmel City Center, free parking is conveniently located at street level, plaza level and the underground parking garage.
